Calgary Edmonton Highway Repairs to Cost 100000

Edmonton Aug 11. The poor stretch on the Calgary Edmonton highway from Bowden to Red Deer and the Wetaskiwin to Edmonton segment will be repaired at about 100000. Hon O L McPherson provincial minister of public works announced arrangements for further expenditure beyond the 1933 appropriation. He said the Edmonton Wetaskiwia section was weak due to lack of gravel replacement and the repairs were not a surprise.
