Cory Lanski, 21, remains in serious condition after falling from his mother's moving car near Ross Glen Road S E and Carry Road S E in Calgary Monday at about 6 15 p m. A passing woman performed mouth to mouth resuscitation as another bystander covered him with a blanket. Paramedics first took him to Medicine Hat and District Hospital then to Calgary Foothills Hospital. Police continue investigation into the accident.

RCMP officer fatally shot in Climax Saskatchewan
Ole Larsen a 34 year old RCMP officer and 14 year veteran was shot during a routine vehicle check in Climax Saskatchewan and died three hours later. A suspect fled and was later found dead in Montana after a joint RCMP and U S search. An inquest is ordered with no date set. Larsen was married with two children.
