Asian refugees released from Halifax prison

The last six of 174 Asians who entered Canada illegally three weeks ago were ordered released from a Halifax military prison. Adjudicator Michael Sloan found no proof of terrorist ties or past crime. Australian gunman kills six in Melbourne rampage

A 19-year-old former cadet identified as Julian Knight opened fire from 10 p.m. Sunday in Clifton Hill using a pump action shotgun and two semi automatic rifles. He killed six people and wounded 18 before being captured by a wounded traffic police officer.
