Montreal police hunt for link to hired killer gang
A Montreal police spokesman said a man held in a city jail may supply a link to a gang of hired killers. He led provincial police to a Laurentians grave of a woman shot after witnessing a January 1965 cafe slaying. The inquest next week will hear he acts as a material witness. Det Lieut Jacques Parizeau noted the gang may span provinces and operates in the east end of Montreal. QPP declined further comment.
