Lloyd George Says Allies Won't Interfere With Polish Peace

London Aug 10 Premier Lloyd George said allies will not intervene to upset any Minsk peace arrangement acceptable to Poland. Lethbridge August 10. Cutting of the Noble Foundation Line 22,000 acre crop is under way today. A start was made Monday at the Cameron ranch and this morning at some Nobleford farms. Rye harvest began Monday on this big farm and threshing outfits will be busy from now until late in the week when grain goes into bins. Wheat cutting east of Lethbridge is general today.

Harvesting General in Most of Manitoba and West

Winnipes Aug 10 The weekly crop report shows harvesting will be general across Manitoba and southern Saskatchewan and Alberta this week with central regions lagging ten to fifteen days. The west faces a very satisfactory harvest with substantial barley and rye cut and good hay and fodder crops. Rains last week boosted grain and vegetable growth with some districts reporting 15 to 40 percent yield improvements.
