Fortytousand BC civil servants vote to end a four day walkout with a threat of mass layoffs and possible return to work after a spending offer. Security around the Toronto courtroom will be stepped up during the third week of the preliminary hearing for four suspected Armenian Secret Army for the Liberation of Armenia members. Police plan to use metal detectors as supporters attend daily amid ongoing extortion conspiracy charges.
