Ottawa August 9 The death of George H Boivin former Minister of Customs and member for Shefford in the House of Commons removes a prominent figure from the political scene. A tough debater he faced the government during the Customs and Excise inquiry and presided over the department during the Aziz case. Boivin of Granby Quebec born 1882 and Laval graduate later served as deputy speaker and privy councillor. He died during an election campaign.
