Postal workers reach tentative two year contract

The 23,000 striking Canada Postal Workers may return to work on Monday midnight if the union members approve a two year settlement reached Thursday. Voting is set for Sunday and Monday with results expected Monday evening. The deal includes raises of 70 cents per hour annually, a 17 week maternity leave subsidy, and improved shift premiums but no 12th paid holiday.

Hostage incident at Iranian interests section in Washington
