Eckville Alberta mayor Jim Keegstra said RCMP questioned him about possible charges for publicly promoting hatred of Jews. Police began the inquiry last week at the request of the provincial Attorney General with decision to press charges to follow.

Upper Volta toppled in overnight coup by Li byan-backed former PM
A Li byan backed former prime minister ousted Upper Volta's pro western government in an overnight coup. Five people were killed and about 15 wounded, including two soldiers and three civilians.
