Regina reports show hail and wind damage across 75 to 100 miles east and southeast of the capital. A grain strip 30 miles long by five wide was levelled in Rainton and Cedoux as telegraph lines failed and losses mounted near Yellow Grass and Broadview. Brandon saw half an inch of rain with hail that damaged gardens and windows while aiding potatoes.

United States fights for its share in Egyptian cotton trade

Washington reports the shipping board contends the Egyptian cotton case at London talks tests U S shipping rights. Hatfield Rainmaker Contract Details for Next Year

Hatfield agrees to a next year contract with a maximum of 12000 dollars based on three inches of rainfall and four thousand per inch for rainfall over three inches up to six. Springfield Man Robbed Of Liquor By Four Bandits

Four motor car bandits forced entry into Albert Oliver's Springfield Ontario home eight miles east of town early today. They threatened him with revolvers and recovered his private liquor stash and 35 dollars in cash before fleeing east at high speed.

Scaffolding Collapse Kills Worker at Central School
