On Monday evening the Century Methodist Church congregation welcomed their pastor Rev A C Farrel and his bride who came to Medicine Hat from the East. Mr Curtis Hollinger chaired the gathering as Miss Thelma Muir Mrs Curry and Miss Alma Worth contributed a short program. Mr J Kennedy delivered a warm welcome on behalf of the church while Mr Bristah presented Rev Farrel with a writing desk and bookcase and Miss Hazel Colter presented flowers to Mrs Farrel. Mr Farrell thanked the assembly before refreshments were served.
