CUPE to represent WestJet cabin crews
The Canadian Union of Public Employees wins interim approval from the Canada Industrial Relations Board to represent WestJet cabin crew including Swoop staff. WestJet CEO Ed Sims says the airline supports employee choice and will collaborate with CUPE on a broader bargaining strategy involving about 15 000 flight attendants nationwide.
