Halifax July 31 Attorney General W ed O Meara announced the provincial government offers a 600 reward for information leading to arrest and conviction of those responsible for yesterday bomb outrages in Sydney. Police traced clues but no arrests made as damage to the British Empire Steel plant water pipe was investigated and repairs completed.
London August 1 The Canadian Pacific Railway office in Glasgow reports hundreds of British men seeking overseas farm work in Canada. The lists are closed and the steamer Marlor will sail Friday carrying 800 harvest workers to Winnipeg, with similar tenures expected for others bound for America.
