Mrs Albert Worsley sister of Pte Robert Hartshorn 40601 notified he was admitted to Bethnal Green Military Hospital July 30 with a contusion of the leg. Among enlistees from the baggage room Ptes Abbott and Bland killed while Ptes Bear and Hartshorn wounded. Pte Hawking served over a year in the trenches and escaped injury. Trial of Sir Rodmond Roblin Roblin Case in Winnipeg

The direct examination of W. W. Horwood closed after eight days of testimony in the Roblin trial. Crown counsel questioned him about the $216 000 grillage and dome contract and the rivet estimates, which Horwood called a fake.
