London Aug 1 Winston Spencer Churchill first Lord of the Admiralty will visit Canada and is expected to go to the Dominion on a war ship. Canadian Premier R L Borden invited the British Cabinet to permit the visit and Prime Minister Asquith said he could not go but Churchill accepted.

Alfred Augustus Andrews president of the Winnipeg Rubber Co and former Exhibition Board member died in Chicago after mastoid operation complications. He was 47, born in North Augusta Ontario, moved to Winnipeg from Port Trepe in 1880. his brother is Professor Andrews of Regina College.
