Four Missing After Fog Collision At Sea Near Lunenburg

Coast Guard and fishing boats hunted for four crew members from the scallop dragger Margaret Jane after it sank following a foggy collision with the trawler Cape Beaver near Lunenburg Nova Scotia. Fourteen men were rescued. missing are Leonard Snook Aloisius Hinks Manuel Joseph Jesse and Kelly Crouse. Weather hindered efforts though improved conditions aided air sea rescue operations. National Sea Products Ltd. officials aboard Cape Beaver doubted survivors due to lack of life jackets and freezing water.
