A lone gunman robbed a downtown Royal Bank of Canada branch of about 17000. Teller John Ellis was wounded in the left hand as the bandit fled after tossing money into a car and escaping in another. A child found the revolver used hours later. The thief wore a black hood and spoke with a foreign accent.

PFRA Takes In More Cattle For Suffield Pasture
The PFRA in Medicine Hat says more cattle are needed to fill grazing quotas in the Suffield community pasture.
