RCMP Constable King Falls In Line Of Duty
RCMP constable Thomas Brian King aged 40 and a seven year veteran was slain early today after stopping a vehicle on a highway check. His body was found in the South Saskatchewan River. Police announced a third suspect was arrested with two Saskatoon men already in custody for questioning. King is survived by his wife Marie and three children aged 12 10 and nine. His weapon is missing.

Canada aims to limit oil imports to one third by 1985
