Medicine Hat launches wind power under Going Green plan
Medicine Hat seals a 307 422 contract with VisionQuest to supply wind energy for three per cent of annual consumption. The Going Green program charges 33 cents monthly for residents, 59 cents for small businesses, and five 90 dollars for large users, aiming to cut 13 000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions annually. VisionQuest already powers Calgary and plans preliminary solar studies near Seven Persons.
