Cancarb sale to Tokai Carbon seen as a perfect fit
Tokai Carbon of Japan completed a 190 million purchase of Cancarb in Medicine Hat. Local president Dave Petrie says the deal preserves 73 jobs, strengthens North American marketing and production export capacity, and leverages Tokai’s R D capabilities to grow the carbon black and related product business.
