Teen seeks to ban swearing in readings of Mice and Men

Reward for Calgary horse mutilations rises to ten thousand dollars

Fire damages about 100 telephone poles near Town and Country Packers

About 100 telephone poles burned mid-morning south of Medicine Hat after cardboard sparks started a grass fire along the railway near 13th Avenue. Fire crews arrived around 11 a.m. and soaked the area with foam to prevent spread as winds remained a concern. The blaze threatened nearby greenhouses across the tracks.

Brooks man killed in truck crash near Brooks
