Medicine Hat hockey icon Joe Fisher dies at 85
Joe Fisher, a Stanley Cup winner with the Detroit Red Wings in 1943 and co founder of the Medicine Hat Tigers, died of natural causes at 85. Born July 4 1916 in Medicine Hat he helped build the WHL Tigers and coached the team before stepping back as owner. Funeral set for Wednesday at St Barnabas Anglican Church.

Fourth person dies after fatal highway crash
A deadly 10 vehicle crash on the Trans-Canada Highway west of Suffield left a fourth person dead.
