Divorcing Parents to Take Mandatory Sessions Across Alberta
An Edmonton pilot program Parenting After Separation for divorcing parents with child custody access disputes will become mandatory province wide. Since 1996 residents within 80 km of Edmonton in divorce actions must attend a six hour session covering legal process mediation communications and parenting plans. The program, run by a family lawyer and therapist, will expand to Calgary by Sept 1 and then to all Alberta regions.

Quebec teens host open house sparks mass youth turnout
