Canadian woman completes Marathon des Sables finish
Sandra McCallum of Medicine Hat crossed the finish line in 58 hours 7 minutes 31 seconds to place 441st overall and 44th among women in the 240-kilometre Moroccan desert race. It marked her first finish after a year of pain and hallucinations and made her the third Canadian woman to finish the event.
