City Council met in regular session. Reports discussed include gas well funding and fire brigade needs. Board of Trade deputation urged a special grant for a city promotion commissioner and Hillside Cemetery decision, with committees to report back.

The Alberta Motor Company is fitting up Dr. Smith's auto the Mud Turtle with wheels and gear to operate on railway tracks. The auto will be used by Supt. Maharg and Dr. Smith as the company expands its railway experiments. The firm is devoting much effort to air ship construction and may announce experiments in that area soon.
Land agent Cochran tells The News that 650 homesteads were filed or approved by March 31 marking a notable annual total. The figure signals a strong year for settlement activity in the region.
W M Colby of City and Town Minnesota report a proposed sewer pipe project amid public debate. The brief note notes strong opinions and asks officials to review the takings and costs involved.
Dr. Stoner arrived by train from Mémteapong and stated the Red CX pony’s plant is now in Medicine Hat. He says the gang has met on time and expects a six weeks delay before any wake occurs.
