Campbell Mulrooney and Clark form unlikely musical duo

Bryan Mulrooney and Joe Clark met in Kamloops while on a band tour with 39 Chilliwack high school students headed to Alberta. Clark was randomly chosen to billet Mulrooney for the night, a pairing described as a total fluke by teacher John Churchley. The Chilliwack players had about 20 billet families.

Soldier dies after field exercise at Canadian Forces Base Suffield

A Canadian soldier from the Winnipeg based Second Battalion Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry died after an accident during a two week field exercise at CFB Suffield. Lt Col Doug Forge said the identity will be released after the family is notified and an inquiry will be held.
