News notes no formal review but attendees praised the Canadian rock group April Wine from Nova Scotia for a strong Tuesday night performance at the Esplanade. Reports contradicting a Wednesday note say the concert lived up to the band’s 1970s breakout reputation.
The Easter program at Police Point Park runs Friday to Monday with chicks bunnies eggs and hotdogs for kids. Medicine Hat Transit will not operate on Good Friday. Regular non-peak service will resume Saturday from 6:45 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. Easter Sunday non-peak service runs 8:15 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Normal peak and non-peak service resumes Monday, April 9.
