City and CUPE reach three-year deal with 2017 freeze
City ratified a three year agreement with CUPE Local 46 covering about 850 inside outside and transit workers with no wage increase in 2017 and 2 percent rises in 2018 and 2019. Union members voted 77 percent in favour after months of negotiations. Firefighters agreed to a similar zero in 2017 and 2 percent in 2018.
