Canadian dollar sinks to yearly low amid earnings fears
The Canadian dollar slid to 63.19 US cents, near its annual low, then closed at 63.32 as markets tumbled. In U.S. stocks, Dow Jones dropped 292.22 to 9485.71 and Nasdaq fell over 100 as earnings warnings mounted.
