Four men were killed when a Standard Airlines monoplane crashed Saturday morning in the San Gorgeonie pass near Beaumont California. The dead are Delbert Reverett the Los Angeles pilot R L Blake a Los Angeles businessman George Nicco a Los Angeles contractor and T J Bally a San Antonio businessman.
The sealing ship Neptune, first of the fleet, arrived this morning from the ice fields with about twenty thousand seals. It was followed by the Eagle carrying around eleven thousand seals. A second trip may follow.

A two day Easter storm struck rural southwest Missouri injuring twenty two and reported missing three. Thirty to forty farm buildings were wrecked or damaged with several patients in serious condition. No deaths were reported.

A gas burst at Thoyalite No. 14 in Turner Valley Sunday noon killed Murray McRae and seriously injured A. E. Yea and left a third man unharmed on a derrick. McRae died at 8 pm from a fractured leg and arm with severe injuries. Yea remained in hospital with severe shock and a crushed leg. Provincial police will conduct an investigation and a coroner may be called.
