Camp at Nader Arbor Directs Sea Goon Operations

J QO a Long PLL has established a permanent camp at Nader Arbor from which point his seagoons operations will be directed. Mrs HL Clayberg, the popular assistant teacher at the Indian village, plans to leave for the south in a few days and expects to return in the course of the summer. Patrick Calnin of Castor Alta visited Mayer lake district last week to settle, expressing satisfaction with it. Charles Ives assists the Wearmonth brothers who are making improvements on their preemption across the river from Masset.

Graham Island Agricultural Show and Powder House Plan

The Graham Island Agricultural Institute met January 27 at Grahawn Centre. Forty two members attended. They planned a new powder house to replace the one damaged in a storm and elected officers for 1913, including President Fred Geduhn and Secretary Treasurer Wal kis. A committee was named to examine current powder stocks and sell damaged material at auction. Ole Anderson was chosen foreman for construction. A note urged better weekly mail service for the district.
