Tom Bond and Geo. Pair visited the town on Tuesday. Union Sunday School meets at 2.30 in the Methodist Church. Citizens are urged to subscribe with a dollar for the News. Several locals and visitors are listed, including Alex Montgomery returning from Dell and 2,000 harvesters arriving in Winnipeg bound for Saskatchewan and Alberta. Harvest prospects indicate an average wheat crop with lighter barley and oats.

Obituary of Martha Elizabeth Adair of Liprentot

Martha Elizabeth Adair died on August Sth at Liprentot aged 32. Beloved wife of T Adair and mother of five, she was born in Port Elgin New Brunswick and lived on the Lippentott farm. Funeral at Woodville on August 10 conducted by Rev J W Shier. Pallbearers from Oak Lake and Liprentott district. She leaves husband five children two brothers five sisters and her aged parents. The community offers deep sympathy.
