ObituarySarah Rebecca Threlkeld was born Dec. 31, 1841. She was the daughter of George and Sarah Threlkeld who imigrated to this state; from Kentucky in an early day. She was a member of ! a family of ten children all of whom lived to a good age. She being the seventh one to pass to the great beyond. Two brothers George and Joseph Threlkeld, and one sister Mrs. Rhoda Hardee survive her.I She was married to Soseph S.! Beck, Oct. 18, 1857 with whom ishe lived until her death Sept. 19, 1917 which was almost 58 years i She was 75 years, 8 months and 19 days old.She is survived by her aged j husband, five ’r^n: Mrs. Isa■ Layne, Mrs. Ella Brown, Mrs. Mealia Hipes, Marcus and Linden Beck, nineteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.: Three children have proceeded I her in death, Lvonial, Minnie and an infant son.She lived in this community almost all her life, residing on the farm where her death occured. She with her husband united with the Predestinarian Baptist church , in June 1864, and ever remained a faithful member. She war, a . loving wife and mother, a kind . neighbor and a good Christian woman.The funeral was preached at Pisgah by Rev. C. L. Airhart, Friday at 10 a. m. Burial at , Pisgah. Sir. Hankins funeral director.■
