ARROWiOF CUPIDStrikes Dr J B Uryand Miss LuraKuhn.Dr. John B Dry and Miss Lura Kuhn were married Wednesday noon at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Sarah Kuhn, on Second street. To the beautiful strains of a wedding march play* ed by Miss Nellie Kuhn, sister ofthe bride, the bridal couple marched to the parlor where Rev Clayton A Smucker, paetor of St Paul’s Methodist church, employing the impressive ring ceremony, spoke the words which united their lives. Only the members of the immediate families of the contracting parties were present at the marriage. A wedding luncheon was served immediately after the ceremony. That afternoon Mr. and Mrs. 1 ry left on the 12:28 o’clock B O passenger train for Chicago and other points in the west and northwest where they will visit for ten days, after which they will return and make their home in Defiance. Dr. Ury,the groom, is a popular and rising young physician. Although it has been but two years since he received his degrees at Rush Medical College, Chicago, bin proficiency as a physician and his genial manner has won for him one of the largest practices, in Defiance. Dr, Ury’s father, F M Ury, member of the board of public safety, and mother reside on Jefferson street, rs. Ury is a young lady ofsweet disposition and with manysocial talents. She is agraduate of the Defiance higli school and has been a student at Defiance college Both Dr. and Mrs. Ury have hundreds of friends in this city whoextend to them their congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy married life.
