RYKKEN-ESTNESS.A pretty wedding of the early autumn was that of Miss Bertha Josephine Rykken and Hi Id us Est-ness, which took place at the Eagle Lake church on Wednesday afternoon, September 14th, at two o’clock. The church with its decorations of garden flowers and autumn foliage made an attractive setting for the ceremony, which was performed by Rev. Gynild and was witnessed by a group of intimate friends and relatives.Miss Marie Botnen at the organ announced the approach of the bride and her attendants. The Lohengrin bridal Chorus was used for both the processional and recessional music. Miss Rykken was gowned in cream nuns’ veiling, her dainty veil was caught by rosebuds and she carried brides’ roses. Attending her was her sister, Miss Emma Rykken as maid of honor. Next came the bridesmaid Miss Sigrid Gynild, attended by Albert Rykken. Both the bride’s attendants wore prettily fashioned dresses of cream white and their flowers were red carnations. The groom and best man. Gust Hegstrom, entered the church first and awaitedthe bride at the altar.After the marriage vows were spoken a reception followed at the home of the pride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. K. T. Rykken, and later an elaborate wedding dinner was served. The pleasant rooms were made still more attractive w'ith quantities of lillies, dahlias and trailing greenery and a beautiful bouquet centered the dining table.Mr. and Mrs. Estness will make their home on the Schedeen farm, town of Dovre. The bride is the daughter of a prominent family and is a popular young lady and she and her husband, who until lecent-ly was a resident of Everett, Wash., are receiving the hearty congratulations of many friends.
