SHAW-BRAWNSomerville, Mass., Young Man Takes West Bath Girl for His BrideA very pretty wedding took place Sunday evening at 7 00 o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur W. Brawn of West Bath when their daughter Miss Margaret S. Brawn became the bride of Douglas E. Shaw of Somerville, Mass. The double ring service was performed by Rev. D. L. Wilson and the wedding march was played by Miss Lillian Stover. The rooms were prettily decorated with garden flowers and pink and green streamers. The bridesmaid was Miss Eleanor Brawn, a sister of the bride, who wore pink flat crepe and carried pink roses. The best man was Leonard Brawn, brother of the bride. The bride’s gift to the bridemaid was a compact and the groom s gift to the best man was a set of white gold cuff links.Refreshments consisting of ice cream and cake were served.Mrs. Shaw’s travelling dress was tan with hat and shot's to match and a fox scarf.Mrs. Shaw has been employed for the past fewr years in Somerville.Mr. Shawf who is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George K. Shaw of Somerville is employed as a hardware salesman.Mr. and Mrs. Shaw left Sunday evening for two weeks motor trip through New York and will reside at Somerville after Sept. 23.The out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. George E. Snaw and daughter, I Miss Eleanor of Somerville.
