Miss Jessie Dora Jarrett. daughter of Mrs. G. H. Griffith of Washington Grove. Md., and Mr. Dana Himes Brockway. son of Mr. and Mrs. Bertt H. • Brockwav, were married in * the parsonage of 'trinity M. E. Church. October S. by Rev. Joseph Dawson.The bride is a popular young member of the Phi Kappa Xu Sorority of this city. The bridegroom is connected with the Sons of the American Revolution and is descended from a notable line of commissioned officers of that period.The ceremony was followed by a reception at the home of the bridegroom. at 510 M street northwest. The decorations were of Fall flowers with a background of ferns and Autumn leaves. The bridal couple received their guests standing under a wedding bell suspended from a bower of brilliantly colored Autumn boughs.The bride was in a gown of white georgette crepe embroidered with crystal beads over white satin^ An apron front was edged with white fur. She wore a band in her hair of silver leaves which matched her silver slippers. Her shower bouquet was of Bride roses.Miss Wanda Pierson, as bridermaid. was in an orchid gown made in the bouffant style with tucks and ruffles from hem to waistline. She carried a bouquet of Bridesmaid roses.Mr. Carl Brockway was best man for his brother.The mother of the bride wore a brown silk crepe de chine. The bridegroom’s mother wore a russet colored gown embroidered with varying shades of brown beads.-Later in the evening Mr. and Mrs. Brockway started on a wedding trip through a shower of rice from their families and a host of friends. The bride’s traveling gown was of green cloth made with high neck and trimmed with mink fur and a close-fitting hat to match. They will be at home after October 20 .at the Morton, 1432 R street northwest.Some of the out-of-town guests were Mrs. Wadsworth and her daughter, Mr. G. H. Griffith, Lieut. Philip Garges, Mr. and Mrs. Everett A. Hel-muth and the Phi Kappa Nu Sorority was present en masse.
