Hurst.Evelyn Dormois, pianist, played a prelude of wedding music and accompanied Judi Greathouse, who sang “Because” and “The Lord's Prayer.”Given in marriage by her father,1 the bride wore a brocaded bridal satin gown in ballerina length fashioned with V neckline and worn with matching mitts. A hall hat of pleated tulle and seed pearls held her finger-tip veil of nylon tulle. She wore a pearl necklace, gift of the groom, and carried led rose buds laced with satin love-knot streamers on a white Bible.Jeannine Crumrine, was maid of honor in a ballerina-length gown ot light blue over taffeta. Maribelle Berthot and Carolyn Fuller were taper lightbrs wearing dresses fashioned identically of blue organdy over taffeta. The attendants wore matching headbands and white carnation corsages.Marsha Sue Dent was flower girl and wore a pink dress with matching head band and Michael Dent \ was ringbearcr. Both are cousins of the groom.Lewis Heady served as best man. Dick Dennis, brother of the bride, and Dean Struck were ushers. -The w’cdding reception was held in the church parsonage. A 5-tier wedding cake decorated with pink roses and featuring a bridal couple in miniature centered the bridal table which was spread with a lace cloth over pink. Mrs. Dale Biele, aunt of the bride, served cake assisted by Suzanne Biele, cousin of the bride. Sandra Campbell, poured punch, assisted by Mrs. Ralph Dent, aunt of the groom. Mrs. Glenn Strange was in charge of the guest book and Charlene Brookshire and Mrs. J. D. Schaal the gift table.Following a short wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Cheyney will be at home on a farm southeast of Cha-nute where Cheyney is engaged in farming. Both are graduates of the Chanutc High School and Cheyney is also a graduate of Chanute Junior College.Out-of-town guests were: Mrs. J. D. Schaal.
