The First Mobhodisib church in Hawanden was the setting for the September 16 wedding of Miss Carol Jean Vande Pol, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Way no Vande Pol, of Hawanden, and Larry Kenneth Klein me, son of Mr. and Mrs. Em-bert Klenumc, of rural Akron. Rev. G. S. Bruland peiformed the ceremony before the altar decorated with yellow gladiolas and1 'maims.The bride, given.in marriage, by her fafchea*, wore a* gown of candle light satin and' re- embroidered lace with a Eilim A-lino ska it accented by a wide lace motif embroidered iraidescenits. A detachable court brain of lace fell from a flat French bow. She woue a bouffant veil of imported* illusion caught to a half crown of laceedged in pearl scatops and eirubelldshed with aurora borealis crystals. Her flowers wore yellow and white nosee carried’ on a -white Bible.Miss Joyce Vande Pol, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. Her gotwn was toe-length of gold brocade. A gold' illusion veil felt from a flat satin bow. Her flowers were a crescent boquot of yellow 'mums. The flower girl was Jody Win-quis-t, attired in bi gown similarto that of the bridesmaid*,Gary Klemme, brother of the grcom, was best man and Ronnie Klemme and Robert Corey were ushers.The mother of the bride wore ! a blue floral print gown and wore a corsage of pink looses and white 'ir.unvi'. The groom's mother wore a tan duress and her corsage was of red- roses and white ’mums* j Music fior the occasion was The Lord's Prayer” sung by Jan Wil- ! beck, accompanied by Julie Hummel, while *the couple were kneel-: ixvg at the altar.A reception was held in the ; church parlors following the ceremony. Debbie Klemime had charge of the guest book. Mm Norvin ; Moss cut the wedding cake and ; Dorothy Anderson presided at the j punch bowl. Ait the silver service | were Mrs. John Winquist and Mrs.! Floyd Baber. Ruth Breugem and ! Mrs, Herb Boyer opened and1 di*-I ployed the wedding gifts. Serving ,«s waitresses were Sbairi Heuer, Barbara Trageser, Dianne Vandor | Hamm, Evelyn* Vos and Dorothy Anderson.Following a wedding trip .to the South Dakota Black -Hills the couple are making their home on« a fautn near Chataworbh, Iowa.
