WeddingsANN NIESER WEDS AUGUST SCHLECHT AT BEAUSEJOURThe Beausejour Lutheran church was the scene of a wedding at 4.30' p.m., Saturday. Sep-| timber 17, when* Ann HelenINieser, younjtest daughter of, M rs, H. Loeb and the late G.I Neiser. became the bride , of August G. Schlecht. son of Mr.; and Mrs. D. Schlecht of Beausejour. Rev. H. Moertelmeyer officiated.The bride wore a gown of white bridal satin, the sweetheart neckline being offset with a yoke of net encrusted with pearls. The tight-fitting bodice was buttoned at the back to the hipline with tmv self-covered buttons The sleeves were lily-pointed. The full-gathered skirt was styled on Victorian lines and featured a scalloped effect. The bride’s full-length veil of illusion net was held in place by a scalloped headdress trimmed with seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of pink roses.Misses Betty and Jean Sing-j beil were bridesmaids, the former choosing a gown of pale ! green taffeta and the latter pink f : net. Both wore matching chapel r i veils and accessories. They car-■ | ried sweet peas.' ■ The groom, was attended by the j bride's brother, George Nieser, 1 ] as best man. and Emil BrieseLittle Doreen Russell, niece of* the bride, in a gown of pink taf-* S feta was flower girl, and the■ : bride’s nephew, Donald Nieser, was ring bearer.A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr, and Mrs. H Loeb. for the immediate family and close friends Following a brief honey mo-on. in Dry den. Ont.. Mr. and Mrs. Schlecht left for Victoria, B C\. where they will reside.
