^ -QUINSLAND — RUDEThe Ed Quinsland home was the setting for a simple home wedding last Saturday when at 3:00 p. m. their daughter, Sarabelle, was united in marriage to Leo Rude. Rev. J. O. Wangberg officiated, using the single ring ceremony. The bride wore a gown of black chiffon velvet and lace and was attended by an intimate friend, Miss Beryl Slayton of Fort' Dodge, who was dressed in golden yellow crepe. Lawrence Quinsland, brother of the bride, served as best man. Only the immediate relatives and a few intimate friends were present. A lovely three-course wedding dinner was served very informally, after which the bride and groom left for Des Moines, where they have furnished an apartment at 1435 West 24th street. The bride has spent her whole life in Rolfe, and always took an active part in school and church affairs. Since graduation from Rolfe High she has held a position with the local j telephone company, and served as chief operator here since the change in ownership. The groom was bom in Cedar Falls, but for several years made his home here with his father, where he took his high school work and later was associated with his father, and still later with his mother, in the mercantile business. He has ever been a loyal booster in school and community affairs. The good wishes of the community go with the newlyweds as they go out to establish a home.Out of town relatives present were the groom’s mother, Mrs. May Rude, who has been visiting in Cedar Falls; a cousin of the bride, Mrs. Joe Norby, of Havelock; and her sister, Miss Elaine Quinsland, of Ft. Dodge Business College.
