Leonard Greek Orthodox Church was the scene of a lovely wedding on Thursday,Oct. 5th when Nellie Yaworski,only daughter of Mr. and Mrs.athew Yaworski, of Angus* vilie and Alexander, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Kowaichuk, of Inglis, Man., exchanged marriage vows in a double ring ceremony. Officiating clergyman was Rev. E. Schwetz.Given in marriage by her father, she looked radiant in a floor length gown of chiffon, with net tiers. The overskirt was deep lace scallop edged in pearls and sequins with a raised flower design. Thetop was chiffon overlaid withlace and raised flowers and lace lily point sleeves. A cor-1 onet of seed pearls and rhinestones held her chapel veil which was imported lace, in a water lily design. Complimenting her gown, she wore “adouble strand of culturedpearls and tiny ear rings, gift of the groom.The bride’s gift to the groom was a set of gold cuff links and bar with a ruby colored stone in it.She carried tea roses and her corsage was the same in American Beauty roses.Attending the bride as maid of honor was her cousin, Sylvia Javra. She wore a yellowgown. The bridesmaids wereStella Kowaichuk attired in blue; Freda Wdwk in green and Martha Holopna in blue. They all carried nosegays ofapple blossoms in peach andwhite. ,Pete Lapka, uncle of thebride was best man. The ushers were Donald Wishira and Stanley Mushenz and George Bulzuk.A reception was held in the Ukrainian Hall, AngusviUelarge crowd of relat-?es and friends attended.proposed by Tony Javra, uncle ofthe bride.The happy couple spenttheir honeymoon at Winnipeg and different points in Ontario. For going away the bride chose a green and brown wool suit. Her accessorieswere green and white.Out of town guests werethe bride’s aunt.
