Klemme of 1426 South St., Lafayette, became the bride of Jack M. Johns, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd M. Johns, Sr., of Delphi in a pretty ceremony performed Saturday afternoon, May 24, at 1 p.m. in St. Boniface Catholicchurch, Lafayette.The Rev. Father Bernard Ger-busi, O. F. M., performed the double ring ceremony. Preceding the rite, Miss Helen Murphy, orr-jganist, played a group of bridal airs and accompanied Joe, Jr., and Frank O’Brien, vocalists.Attending the bride as maid of honor was Miss Rita Diedham of Kentland, a college classmate of the bride. Bridesmaids were Misses Agnes Wondell of Laporte, and ‘Anita Hawthorne, of Chicago, ,both classmates.Lloyd Vanscoy, of Melbourne, Florida, a cousin of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were William Schnepp and James Hal-lar, both of Delphi.The couple was honored at a reception from 2 to 4 p. m. at the Morris-Bryant hotel. Assisting were Helen L. Scott, Mary E. Gard, Jane Ann Bennett, Betty Mitchell, and Laiira Anne Johnson of Erie, Pa., friends of thebride.The new Mrs. Johns is a graduate of the St. Francis High school in Lafayette and attended St. Francis College, Ft. Wayne, the University of Puerto Rico, Sari Juan, P. R., and is a graduate of Purdue. She is now a registeredmedical technologist at St. Elizabeth hospital in Lafayette.Mr. Johns graduated from the Delphi high school and served inWorld War II. He is now attend-■ting Lafayette business college and is a member of the local American Legion. i* The couple will reside at 219 South Union Street, Delphi.Mrtwoher-CAKE DECORATING LESSONA special interest lesson on Cake Decorating will be held Wednesday afternoon, June 4th at the R.
