Brother Leslie Lewis performed the doublering ceremony.Mother of the bride is Mrs. Linda Iverson. Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Jake Benson. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Carrol Bradshaw.The church was decorated with an eight foot tail brass heart-shaped candelabrum holding white cathedral-lenth tapers and fresh foliage. A pair*Bradshaw exchange vowsMeadowof arched brass candelabrums flanked each side. The unity candelabrum was placed to the left of the bride and groom completing the decorations. The bridal aisle was marked with twelve wide satin pink andmaroon bows.The bride was given in marriage by her grandfather,Mr. Jake Benson. The bride chose a wedding gowm that wasdesigned exclusively by Bridal-lure for Alfred Angelo. The bodice was traditional with its Queen Anne collar and sweetheart neckline. The sleeves were made of D Esprit lace netting and styledin a leg-o-metton design. The skirt and semi-cathedral train were made of tiers of wedge-wood lace. Each tier was accented with a ribbon of satin to complete the elegance of thegOWTl.The bride carried a renaissance cascading bouquet fashioned of white silk roses, dogwood. lilv-of-the-vallev. azalea• *blossoms, and tiger lilies. The bouquet was accented with pale pink and maroon satin bows and streamers.In keeping with tradition the bride carried a handkerchief from her great-grandmother Overman, something new was her gown, and she borrowed a cultured pearl necklace from her Matron of Honor. Christal Brooks. Her garter was blue.The bouquet was designedespecially for the bride byWavne A. BuBose. A1FD. Her•r ’going away corsage was made of the same silk flowers as her bouquet.Serving the bride as Matron of Honor was Christal Brooks of Meadow. Maid of Honor was Melissa Iverson, sister of the bride, of Meadow. Tracy Wilie of Ralls was bridesmaid.The bride s attendants wore elegant pink gowns made of taffeta. Each dress had a scoop-line which was accented with a large taffeta ruffle surrounding the gown. The bodice was nicely fitted and each shoulder was accented with taffeta roses. The puff sleeves completed the neckline. The full skirt was floor-length. The accenting touch of a wide pink sash tied in a large bow in the back completed the look of each attendant.Each attendant carried a renaissance crescent-shaped hand bouquet designed from pinksilk cherrv blossoms, roses, maroon silk bouvordia. silk English ivy. and maroon satin trim.Best Man for the ceremony was Lvnn Jackson of Lubbock. Other groom attendants were Terry Bradshaw and Wes Bradshaw. both brothers of thegroom.The groom was attired in a tailed tuxedo of all white, accented with a maroon bow tie and cummerbund.The groomsmen wore grey ascot tuxedos. The suits were completed with pink shirts,maroon ties and cummerbunds. A boutonniere of a maroon silkrosebud completed the look.Ushers for the ceremony were Marc Moore of Meadow . Ricky Putman of Brownfield.Rusty Putman of Irving, andJunior Ybarbo of Fort Worth.The mothers and grandmothers of both the bride andgroom wore shoulder corsages fashioned from pink silk rosebuds. azalea blossoms, and miniature carnations with maroon satin trim.Pianist for the ceremony was Casey Coleman of Meadow and soloist was Brvan Moore ofRopes ville.“My Treasure bv Scott Wesley Brown, was sang afterthe bride’s grandfather gaveher away. “Flesh of My Flesh by Leon Pattilo. was sung as thebride and groom lit the unitycandle.A round registration table was draped with a white cloth tiered with pink ribbon bows. A brass picture frame with a picture of the bride and groom was placed on the table. A wicker basket with an arrangement of pink and maroon silk flowers accented the table. The guests signed the wedding book with a pink feathered plume pen. Dee Briggs of Meadow-registered the guests.ReceptionFollowing the ceremony a reception was held in the church’s fellowship hall. The rectangular bride's serving table was draped with a white floor-length cloth with a wide ruffled hem. The table was overlaid with an imported white lace cloth. Centering the table was an antique silver candelabrum holding the bride's bouquet and four white cathedral tapers. The circular groom's table was draped with a pleated maroon floor-length cloth.Debbie Smith of Meadow. Kimberlv Jordan of Lubbock,Jolisa Barrier of Meadow, and Tracv Wheeler, cousin of theWbride from Plainview served at the bride’s table. Regina Melton of Ropes and Glenda Hagood of Wolfforth served at the groom's table. Dody Banks, Dottie Barrier, Beverly Gibson, Beverly Anderson, and DeAnn Seaton, cousin of the bride, were members of the house-party. Julie Bradshaw, niece of the groom, passed out rice bags during the reception. House-party members wore corsages of pink silk flowers with maroon satin trim.The bride’s table featured a three-tiered fountain wedding cake. The base of the fountainwas surrounded with greenery. A miniature bride and groom which topped the cake was embedded in silk baby pink flowers and babv's breath withwribbons and lace of pink and maroon. White ruffled swags of frosting encircled each tier. At the toD of each swae weretopclusters of theandswag silk pink maroon flowers. Water flowing from the fountain was in a shade of light pink. Mints and nuts were also served on the table. A crystal punch bowl contained a pink sherbert punch drink.The groom’s table featured a two layer heart-shaped chocolate cake with the bride’s and groom's names frosted in the colors of pink and maroon. The cake was served on a silver cake platter. A silver coffc^e server completed the table. Pink and maroon jelly beans added a finishing touch to the table.The bride s traveling attire was a pink cotton pant suit completed with a tailored blazer. She wore an elegant, laced grey short sleeve summer sweater. Mauve dress shoes and a gray purse accented the outfit.After a honeymoon to Dallas. the couple will make their home in Levelland., The bride and groom will be attending South Plairus College.Bridal CourtesiesThe bride was honored with a bridal shower on May 5 in Ropesville. The shower was hosted in the home of SandraMcNabb.The bride was honored with another bridal shower on May 12 in Meadow. That shower was held in the home of NeldaBrooks.DeAnn Seaton. Pam Gray.and Donna Cheatham hosted a lingerie shower on .May 20 forthe bride.A rehearsal dinner was held in Meadow on Mav 22. The meal, Wwas prepared by Levetta Bradshaw. mother of the groom.JoAnn Bradshaw and DonnaBradshaw, sisters-in-law of thegroom, and Denise Thetford. cousin of the groom.
