Horton- lid IkeSt Thaddeus Episcopal Church in Aiken was the setting for the Saturday afternoon marriage of Elizabeth Richey Walke of Greenville and Bobby Oran Horton Jr of SpartanburgThe bride is a daughter of Mr and Mrs W P Walke Jr and the bridegroom’s parents are Mrs and Mrs. B O Horton of Spartanburg The bride s father gave her in marriage at the ceremony at which the Rev Howard M Hickey officiated.She wore a floor-Iength candlelight qiana gown with empire bodice and (Jueen Anne neckline and long fitted sleeves Silk Venise lace bordered the neckline and A-line skirt that swept into a chapel length trainThe walking-length bridal veil of English illusion was edged in Venise lace She carried a nosegay of white roses, stephanotis and baby's breath.Mrs Robert Stilson was matron of honor Deborah Brusini and Harriett Horton, the bridegroom’s sister, were bridesmaids. They wore floor length gowns of mint green and carried colonial bouquets of mixed spring flowers The bridegroom's father served as best man with the bride’s brothers, Wyndham P. Walke III and John D. Walke, as groomsmen along with the bridegroom s brothers, Russell L. Horton and C. Marshall Horton The bride s brother David Walke, was nngbearer A reception followed the ceremony in the Knights of Columbus Hail.
