We do not have further particulars of the wedding. The bride is a daughter of the late Edward E. Bruce and Mrs. Leslie Struthers, and a granddaughter of our early pioneers, Mr. and Mrs.J. J. Bruce. She graduated from D.M. T. high school, later attended the R Teachers’ college at Cedar Falls, and for the past few years has been teaching in Lincoln township. She is an accomplished and affable young lady, well qualified for her new duties. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Flaherty, long residents of Lincoln township, but who recently moved to the Cornell farm east of Rolfe, which they purchased. He is a substantial, upright young man, a good farmer, fully equipped for his new responsibilities. We understand the newlyweds will occupy the Flaherty farm in Lincoln township and that Mrs. Flaherty will complete her term ofschool.CVV N Lvtlt;3Vnt*V Jlt; H Mv;Ar
