Miss Leslie Tow Marries Clarence Rudiger RecentlyMiss Leslie Tow became the bride of Clarence Rudiger Jr. in a double ring ceremony held Jan. 8 in the L.D.S. Church cultural hall in Cotton City.Bishop Mancel Morten-son officiated.She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Tow of Playas, and he is the son ofMr. and Mrs. ClarenceRudiger of Cotton City.The two were married under a decorated arch of cranberry and rose silk flowers.Music during the ceremony was played by Suzi McLendon, featuring songs such as “You Light Up My Life,” “Evergreen,” and “A Time For Us,” all sung by Terri Gomez.The bride’s gown was a fitted bodice, with a gathered and flared skirt. The bodice, of lace, waslined with white bridalsatin and organza. Shewore long lace sleeves, alsolined with organza, andgathered into a buttoned cuff.The waistline included a peplum, and the cuffs, collar, and peplum were all trimmed with lace.The double skirt, made of satin and organza, had a short train trimmed withlace with seed pearls.The maid of honor was Nora Rudiger, while bridesmaids were Amber Rudiger and Kate Kerr.Flower girl was Tracy Tow, sister of the bride.The ring bearer was Matthew Rudiger, brother of the groomThe maid of honor wore a cranberry-colored long dress of taffeta, while the bridesmaids wore rose-colored formal-length dresses of taffeta with long flared sleeves.The best man was John Pat O’Byrne, and ushers were Greg Jackson andJames O’Byrne.The bride’s mother wore a street-length lavender dress of crepe material, while the groom’s mother wore a long, aqua-coloredlace dress.The reception followed in the cultural hall. The bride’s table was decorated with cranberry and rose silk flowers and a fourtiered cake was decorated by the bride’s grandmother.Mrs. Carol Jackson presided at the guest book andAlleena Wright and Jamie Kelly served cake and punch.Guests attending included Mr. and Mrs. Rhea Tow, Silver City; Mrs. May Hightower, Silver City; Mr. and Mrs. L.E. Patterson Jr. and Debra, Silver City; Tim Tow, Tucson, Ariz.; Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Miller, Bobbie and Janice, Hurley.Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Gailey, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mr. and Mrs. Rex McDonald, Phoenix, Ariz.; and Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Gailey, Alamogordo.The couple took their honeymoon to Tucson and now make their home in Cotton City. The groom is employed by Elbrock Water Systems.He graduated from Animas High School in 1980. The bride will graduate in May.
