Joiner, 6218 Kenosha Dr., Lubbock, were united in marriage Saturday in the Bums Memorial Chapel at Midwestern University.The Rev. William Russell, pastor of St. Stephens Episcopal Church, was the officiant.The couple will live in Lubbock where they will continue their studies at Texas Tech College. They will reside in Murryhill Apts., 3816 50th St.The bride was graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in San Antonio. The bridegroom is a graduate of Monterey High School in Lubbock. They are sophomore students at Tech.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal empire sheath gown of organza over peau de soie with a scoop neckline. The neckline, sleeves and waistline were enhanced by embroidered organza flowers. Her illusion veil was held by a headdress of organza and seed pearls. She carried a white orchid and stephanotis atop a white Bible and an heirloom lace handkerchief.Miss Sherry Hill of New Braunfels was maid of honor. She wore a pale yellow floor-Iength empire sheath with a white lace bodice and a skirt of organza over taffeta.Tom Douglas of Lubbock was best man. Gary Barnard of Lubbock and Houston Hale of San Antonio were ushers. Broyles Hall provided wedding music.The reception was given in the garden at the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Chester Seals.
