It. Gardner, of the Cass Comity Democrat, Rev. A. II. Fraser, of the Presbyterian church, speaking the glad words which made them man and wife.Not many guests were invited, the list including only a few elope friends, aside from thev relatives of the contracting parties. The home was beautifully decorated with cut and potted plants of all kinds a conspicuous feature being the stand in the middle of the reception room, decorated with ferns and evergreens and coveerd with flowers. Surrounded by these emblems of gladness the ceremony was performed, the bride arrayed in a satin gown trimmed iu silk lace, with pearl buckles, aud the goom in conventional black.The happy couple took the 9 o’clock train for Chicago, where they will spend their honeymoon and tben returning to Atlantic will be “at home’ to their many friends.The groom has grown from boyhood to manhood near this city, A year ago he associated himselfwith his father, A. Gardner, in the publication of the Democrat, in which held he has already made a signal success. He is a young man of splendid habits and he has shown bis rare good sense in the selection he has made of a life companion, t The bride has grown to womanhood d here, and numbers her friends by the i- hundreds. Possessed of rare physical » grace and of a genial, sunny nature, and is just the woman to make life a long, summer’s dream for the husband of her choice. She is the only ^ daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Eller, who have lived almost their entire , lives within the confines of this county and whose acquaintances and friends d are everywhere.The writer but voices the wishes of the rnauy friends of Mr. and Mrs. Ed.
