CAROL BROCKMANIS BRIDE OFROY MANISBefore a flower-covered archway and a setting* of palms and ferns, Miss Carol Eloyce Brockman, daughter of Mr, and Mfs. Sidney M. Brockman of Fairmont, Minn., Sunday afternoon becamethe bride of Roy L. Manis, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Mania of Riverside, in the Church of God, Rivei'side. Mrs. Manis is a cousin of Mrs. Claude Lisle of Corona *and has been making her home with her. The Rev. A. G. Crockett of Corona performed the ceremony.The bride’s dress was made of white taffeta, bolero style with short puffed sleeves and with it she wore a fihger-tip length veil caught with a coronet of seed pearls. Her flowers were gardenias, white sweetpeas and maidenhair fern.Attending her as matron of honor was Mrs. T. J. Baker of Los Angeles, who wore a pink taffeta dress with pink and white sweetpeas for her flowers and small pink roses in her hair. As maid: of honor, Miss Elen Nichols wore blue taffeta and carried pink sweetpeas and blue delphinium, peach lace fashioned the dress for the bridesmaid, Miss Rosa Mae Manis of Riverside. She carried lavender and white sweetpeas.The little flower girl was Mar-celine Palmer of Riverside, who wore a nile green taffeta dress and carried a basket of flowers.Baker attended the bridegroom -as best man while other attendants were Lee Gladden of Riverside and Raymond Cox. The Rev. Garnet Palmer of Riverside and R. W. Josey ushered.Marcella Shroud at the piano played “Moonlight and Roses” and “You, My Beloved” before the ceremony as well as the Wedding March from “Lohengrin.” After the ceremony she played “At Dawning/* Soloist was the Rev. Glenn Hammer of Corona, who sang “I Love You Truly” , and “Because/*A three-tiered wedding *cake centered the table for the reception in the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. ,W.
